    Block Watch Programs

    Block Watch programs are an essential ingredient to Community Oriented Policing.  With today’s society, law enforcement needs the assistance of its citizens to ensure that our communities are safe and crime free.  When neighbors watch out for each other, it is the most effective method of crime prevention. 

    The following areas are neighborhoods that currently have a Block Watch Program.  If you do not have a program in your neighborhood and would like to receive information about starting one, contact Lt. Ron Thompson or Officer Greg Yurkovich at (740) 965-2301.
