Connie M. Goodman

Connie Goodman , Trustee headshotConnie Goodman was appointed as a Trustee February 2017 to fill the remainder of an unexpired term.  In November 2017, she was elected for a full four-year term commencing on January 1, 2018 and a second four-year term beginning on January 1, 2022.  She has been a resident of Genoa Township since 2005.  During that time, Connie has actively served on the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Zoning Commission (chair in 2016), and multiple Police, Fire/EMT, and Road levy committees.
 
Connie retired in 2015 after 31 years at The Ohio State University where her most recent role was Assistant Registrar for Academic Records.  Prior to her 21 years in the Registrar’s Office, she was a Recruiter and Academic Advisor in the College of Pharmacy and worked in the Admissions Office.  Her professional service includes the Ohio Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (OACRAO) where she was president in 2005, served on various committees, and presented at several conferences.  At the national level, Connie was a member and chair of several committees of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), and regularly presented at their annual conferences.
 
A native of Minnesota, Connie moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1975 as the result of a promotional transfer in her retail career with the J. C. Penney Company, finally settling in Genoa Township in 2005.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Minnesota and has done graduate studies at The Ohio State University.
 
Now that she is retired, Connie enjoys having more free time to continue her service roles, garden, read, and spend time with her family and friends, especially her three grown children and seven grandchildren.
