What happens when I call 9-1-1?

9-1-1 calls made within Genoa Township are handled by the Delaware County 9-1-1 Center. All emergency calls are then relayed to the Genoa Township Fire Department by the Delaware Central Communications Center.

Important 9-1-1 tips:

  • Stay on the line until the operator releases you.

  • Speak clearly.

  • Give the complete address where assistance is needed.
