Genoa Township Park Locations

 

Currently, Genoa Township has five parks.

Freeman Road Park is located on Freeman Road just west of State Route 3.

 

 

McNamara Park is located at the corner of State Rte. 3 and Big Walnut Road, behind (north of) the Genoa Police, Fire and Service Complex.

The entrance is accessed off of Big Walnut Road.

Two neighborhood parks, Center Green Park located on Center Green Dr. and Danbridge Dr., and Hilmar Park located on Hilmar between Mt. Royal and Tussic Rd., are a labor of love. Township employees, Trustees, and neighborhood residents along with local businesses worked together to erect the playground equipment.

Residents of all ages enjoy fishing in the stocked ponds at both parks. 

Picnic tables, benches and pavilions were added to the new parks in the summer of 2005.

A basketball court and a small playground are on the side of the Administration Building and Township Hall, located at 5111 So. Old 3C Hwy. All of the parks have newly added rubber mulch in the play areas.
